DeltaLent ActiveLiquid DMPP Nitrification Inhibitor
Ready-to-use DMPP solution that keeps nitrogen in the soil longer. Available in three DMPP formulations: 13% (Active 1.3), 18% (Active 1.8) and 25% (Active 2.5), customizable on request.
Available Formulations
The same DeltaLent Active technology in three DMPP formulations. Choose the formulation that matches your fertilizer, your dosing equipment and the stabilization your crop needs.
DeltaLent Active 1.3
The lowest DMPP formulation, suited to slurry and fermentation residues and to applications that need a light stabilizing effect.
See Active 1.3DeltaLent Active 1.8
The standard formulation for granular, crystalline and liquid fertilizers, balancing stabilization performance with dosing economy.
Request Active 1.8DeltaLent Active 2.5
The ultra-concentrated DMPP formulation for (C)AN(S), DAP and ammoniacal NPK fertilizers, allowing a lower dosing volume per tonne of fertilizer.
Request Active 2.5Other DMPP concentrations and enriched versions (DMPP with Poly-P or seaweed) can be formulated to your requirements.
Agronomic Advantages
Engineered to maximize nutrient recovery and crop performance across diverse soil types.
No acidic solvents
Free of acidic solvents such as phosphoric acid, so it carries no dangerous-goods classification. Transport and storage cost less and handling is safer.
Non-corrosive, easy to dose
Non-corrosive, so no stainless-steel equipment is needed. Low viscosity gives good spray application, and a freezing point below 0 °C keeps it working in frost.
Fewer applications
Nitrogen stays in the ammonium form for longer, so a single top-dressing can replace several split applications.
Better crop quality
Balances ammonium and nitrate nutrition for a more even nitrogen supply through the growth cycle.
Lower environmental losses
Reduces nitrate leaching and nitrous oxide emissions by slowing the conversion of ammonium to nitrate.
Broad fertilizer compatibility
Works with AS, ASN, DAP, MAP, CAN, urea, NPK, UAN and blends, in granular, crystalline and liquid form.
Science & Mode of Action
How DMPP delays nitrification and keeps nitrogen available to the crop.
Mode of Action: Delayed Conversion of Nitrogen to Nitrate
DMPP inhibits the soil bacteria that oxidize ammonium to nitrate. The rate of this conversion depends on soil type, temperature and moisture, so more ammoniacal nitrogen remains in the root zone for longer. DeltaLent Active is a ready-to-use solution: it can be applied to the fertilizer for self-stabilization from IBC containers or small canisters, or supplied ready-made in stabilized granular and crystalline fertilizers.
