DeltaLent Phosphate Enhancer

A liquid polyaspartic acid (PASP) solution at 60% for phosphate fertilizers and phosphorus-containing NP and NPK blends. PASP is non-toxic and biodegradable, and its many carboxyl and amide groups bind nutrient ions, which helps reduce nutrient loss and supports uptake.

Agronomic Advantages

Engineered to maximize nutrient recovery and crop performance across diverse soil types.

Binds nutrient ions

Many free carboxyl and amide groups along the PASP chain give it a strong capacity to hold nutrient ions, reducing nutrient loss.

Supports nutrient uptake

PASP stimulates crop growth and nutrient uptake and strengthens stress resistance.

Higher yield in research

In a 15N tracer study by the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, urea enhanced with PASP raised wheat yield by 2.02 to 9.77% over conventional urea.

More nitrogen taken up

With high-molecular-weight PASP (>10 kDa), total nitrogen uptake rose 9.92%, fertilizer nitrogen uptake 4.65% and soil nitrogen uptake 19.62%.

Less nitrogen leaching

PASP kept more fertilizer nitrogen in the 30 to 60 cm soil layer and less in the 60 to 90 cm layer, reducing leaching.

Non-toxic and biodegradable

PASP is a non-toxic, biodegradable and environmentally friendly bioactive organic synergist.

Science & Mode of Action

How polyaspartic acid holds nutrients in the root zone and supports uptake.

Mode of Action: PASP Nutrient Retention

Polyaspartic acid carries numerous free carboxyl and amide groups that adsorb nutrient ions, so nutrients stay in the root-feeding zone longer and less is lost. Research published in Agronomy (2023) showed that urea enhanced with PASP increased wheat spike number, yield and nitrogen uptake, and that PASP of higher molecular weight gave the strongest improvement in yield and nitrogen-use efficiency.

Untreated: nutrients are lost by leaching and less reaches the root zone
With DeltaLent Phosphate Enhancer: nutrients are held in the root zone and taken up
