SYNERGIE® NUTRIENT USE EFFICIENCY (NUE) TECHNOLOGIES*
An integrated platform of Nutrient Use Efficiency (NUE) technologies that maximise fertilizer performance, improve crop productivity, and reduce environmental impact by optimising nutrient availability, plant uptake, and nutrient utilisation throughout the soil–plant system.
TECHNOLOGY OVERVIEW
Developed through a long-term strategic partnership with Synergie Research Institute, Germany (Synergie GmbH), Synergie® Nutrient Use Efficiency (NUE) Technologies comprise an integrated technology platform designed to maximise the agronomic performance of mineral fertilizers.
Rather than targeting a single nutrient, Synergie® adopts a holistic approach to nutrient management by enhancing nutrient availability, protecting nutrients from environmental losses and soil fixation, synchronising nutrient release with crop demand, and improving root uptake efficiency. The result is greater fertilizer use efficiency, higher crop yield and quality, and more sustainable agricultural production.
MAXIMISING NUTRIENT EFFICIENCY ACROSS THE SOIL–PLANT SYSTEM
In conventional fertilisation, a significant proportion of applied nutrients is lost before it can be utilised by the crop. Nitrogen is vulnerable to ammonia volatilisation, nitrate leaching, and denitrification; phosphorus is readily fixed in many soil types; while potassium and micronutrients can become unavailable due to soil chemistry, nutrient interactions, or limited root activity.
Synergie® addresses these challenges through an integrated portfolio of Nutrient Use Efficiency (NUE) technologies, including:
Together, these technologies deliver greater nutrient recovery, improved fertilizer efficiency, higher crop productivity and quality, reduced nutrient losses and greenhouse gas emissions, and more sustainable, profitable farming systems.
SYNERGIE® TECHNOLOGY PORTFOLIO

Technologies designed to minimise phosphorus fixation, boost phosphorus mobility in soil, and enhance phosphorus uptake throughout the crop cycle.
Biological Technologies
Biostimulants • Elicitors • Beneficial Microorganisms
Biological and biochemical solutions that enhance root architecture, stimulate rhizosphere microbial activity, and improve plant immunity.
Integrated NUE Technologies
Tailor-Made Solutions
Tailor-made combinations of complementary technologies for specific crops, fertilizer formulations, and production processes.
HOW SYNERGIE® NUE TECHNOLOGIES WORK
Synergie® integrates complementary Nutrient Use Efficiency (NUE) technologies into a unified platform built upon three core biological and agronomic mechanisms that optimise nutrient availability, plant health, and rhizosphere performance.
Nutrient Leak-Prevention Technology
Provides dual regulation of fertilizer and soil. Delays nitrogen transformation by 30–60 days, reduces soil phosphorus fixation (increasing P mobility up to 16 cm), and boosts potassium utilization by >10%. Water-fertilizer-soil coupling locks nutrients and moisture around roots for fast penetration and long-lasting retention.
Plant Vaccine Technology
Regulates stomata and defense genes via signal transduction, stabilizes crop cellular structure, and enhances the tricarboxylic acid (TCA) cycle. Constructs a robust stress antibody network to protect crops against drought, extreme heat, salinity, pests, and diseases while accelerating water-fertilizer conversion.
Microbiological Activation Technology
Activates beneficial soil microbes (such as Bacillus velezensis, Bacillus licheniformis, and Streptomyces rochei), promoting rapid aggregation and colonization around roots while suppressing harmful pathogens. Establishes a healthy rhizosphere ecosystem that unlocks soil-bound P and K.
KEY AGRONOMIC & ENVIRONMENTAL BENEFITS
Proven performance advantages delivered by the Synergie® Nutrient Use Efficiency (NUE) platform for commercial agriculture and fertilizer manufacturers.
Higher Nutrient Recovery
Maximises crop recovery of applied macro and micro-nutrients, enabling growers to optimize fertilizer inputs and boost ROI.
Higher Crop Yield & Quality
Ensures balanced, season-long plant nutrition during critical growth stages, enhancing yield potential, fruit size, and crop quality.
Improved Nutrient Availability
Protects applied nutrients from rapid soil fixation and chemical degradation, maintaining nutrients in plant-available forms.
Reduced Nutrient Losses
Minimises gaseous volatilisation, runoff, and leaching losses, holding essential nutrients safely within the active root zone.
Healthier Root Zone & Rhizosphere
Stimulates beneficial soil microbial activity, promotes root architecture development, and enhances soil aggregate structure.
Lower Environmental Impact
Supports sustainable agriculture compliance, lowers greenhouse gas emissions, and protects local groundwater ecosystems.
